Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles (Milner, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Stratford Academy beat Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, August 25. Rock Springs Christian Academy will play a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. George's (Milner, GA). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
