In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Bolingbrook Raiders.

The Red Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Plainfield East was edged by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
