The Paramount Pirates football team (Paramount, CA), was ripped 41-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA)

The Gauchos (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South (Torrance, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, South trounced Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Compton for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Paramount will meet a Tarbabes team coming off a 57-6 non-league win over Centennial (Compton, CA). The Tarbabes record now stands at 1-1.
