August 24, 2023: Mountain View, CA 94040 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) and the visiting Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA), saw Saint Francis's volleyball squad beat Burlingame by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Saint Francis upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lancers host Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, August 25. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sacred Heart Prep for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Burlingame will play a Gators squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Gators record now stands at 0-1.
