August 24, 2023: Morganton, NC 28655 The East Burke Cavaliers football team (Connelly Springs, NC), was tipped 22-18 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC)
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Forestview was tipped by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 50-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Draughn for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. East Burke will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
