August 24, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210 The Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) football nudged the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 34-28 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Providence will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 8-8 non-league Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
The Sabres (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record.
