The Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) volleyball overcame the visiting Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Discovery Canyon upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Thunder travel to Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO) to face the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Vista PEAK Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 12.
