August 24, 2023: King, NC 27021 The Surry Central Golden Eagles volleyball team (Dobson, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, North Surry defeated Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Surry Central will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
