August 24, 2023: Conrad, IA 50621 BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Comets battle the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 26. BCLUW will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IA).
With the loss, South Hamilton drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to North Butler (Greene, IA) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. The Bearcats come into the match with a record of 1-0. North Butler won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA)
