August 24, 2023: Centerville, TX 75833 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) and the host Centerville Tigers (Centerville, TX), saw Center's volleyball squad beat Centerville by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Center upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Hemphill (Hemphill, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Hemphill won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against San Augustine (San Augustine, TX)
The Tigers now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hull-Daisetta for a non-league match on Thursday, August 24. Centerville will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-9.
