Texas High School Volleyball - Cleveland can't hold off Texas City
August 24, 2023: Texas City, TX 77590 In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Texas City Stingarees volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cleveland Indians.
The Stingarees (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Dayton was edged by Anahuac (Anahuac, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Indians clash with the College Park Cavaliers (The Woodlands, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Cleveland will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Klein Collins (Spring, TX).
