The McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, McAllen upgrades its record to 18-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Vela (Edinburg, TX) to play the Sabercats in a non-league outing on Friday, August 25. The Sabercats go into the outing with a record of 7-7.
