The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) and the visiting Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), saw Southwood's volleyball squad beat Peru by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Southwood upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Cowan (Muncie, IN) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Cowan lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN)

The Tigers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. Peru will play a Hot Dogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Hot Dogs record now stands at 3-4.
