Hawaii High School Football - Kahuku beat Konawaena
August 24, 2024: Kealakekua, HI 96750 The Kahuku Red Raiders football squad scored 13 points and limited the host Konawaena Wildcats to 0 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Waimea for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Kahuku will meet a Menehunes squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over King Kekaulike (Pukalani, HI). The Menehunes record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Konawaena drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI) to meet the Waveriders in a Big Island I test on Friday, August 30. The Waveriders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Kealakehe lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Waiakea (Hilo, HI)
