Hawaii High School Football - Roosevelt beat Nanakuli
August 24, 2024: Waianae, HI 96792 The Roosevelt Rough Riders football squad scored 18 points and limited the host Nanakuli Golden Hawks to 7 in the Rough Riders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rough Riders now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host McKinley for a OIA II test on Friday, September 6. Roosevelt will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Pac-Five (Honolulu, HI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Nanakuli drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Golden hawks travel to Damien (Honolulu, HI) to meet the Monarchs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Damien won 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV)
