August 24, 2024: West Chester, OH 45069 Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Worthington Kilbourne Wolves (Columbus, OH), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lakota West advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH) to clash with the Highlanders in a Greater Miami test on Thursday, August 29. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 0-2. Oak Hills lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Anderson (Cincinnati, OH)
The Wolves now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westland for a test on Tuesday, August 27. Worthington Kilbourne will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
