August 24, 2024: Rochester Hills, MI 48309 The Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) soccer nipped the host Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Corsairs now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Walled Lake Northern for a Kensington Lakes - North challenge on Tuesday, August 27. Mott will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Lutheran Northwest moves to 1-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to encounter the Knights in a Michigan Independent - Blue challenge on Tuesday, September 3. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
