Minnesota High School Soccer - Marshall toppled by Two Rivers
August 24, 2024: Duluth, MN 55811 Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Two Rivers moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN) to clash with the Minutemen in a Class AA Section 3 test on Tuesday, August 27. The Minutemen come into the test with a record of 1-0. St. Paul Central won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN)
The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hermantown for a Class A Section 7 test on Tuesday, August 27. Marshall will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
