August 24, 2024: Mounds, OK 74047 Depew Hornets (Depew, OK) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Liberty Tigers (Mounds, OK), 19-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Depew upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Drumright (Drumright, OK) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league game on Monday, August 26. The Tornadoes enter the game with a record of 1-7. Drumright lost 4-0 in their recent league game against Pawnee (Pawnee, OK)
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Checotah for a non-league game on Saturday, August 24. Liberty will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Wilson-Henryetta (Henryetta, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.
