Georgia High School Softball - Emanuel County Institute can't get by Effingham County
August 24, 2024: Springfield, GA 31329 The Effingham County Rebels edged the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels play the Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Effingham County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 7-1 league loss to Veterans (Kathleen, GA).
The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack enter the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Greenbrier edged Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.
