The Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) softball nipped the host Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ponderosa for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 28. Lutheran will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
