The Alcorn Central Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ripley Tigers to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Corinth for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. Alcorn Central will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 6-11.
