Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) and the visiting Ambassador Christian School Lions (Huntersville, NC), observed South Point's volleyball team hold off Ambassador Christian School by a count of 2-1.

The Red Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Highland Tech got by Burns (Lawndale, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
