August 24, 2024: Boyne City, MI 49712 Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Boyne City advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 0-1. Gaylord lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI)
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a Central State test on Tuesday, August 27. Kent City will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Athens (Troy, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
