Texas High School Volleyball - Ferris can't get by Carthage
August 24, 2024: Carthage, TX 75633 Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Carthage improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Neches (Neches, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 15-6. Neches won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX)
The Yellowjackets now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kaufman for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Ferris will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-9.
