August 24, 2024: Escalante, UT 84726 The Cottonwood Colts (Salt Lake City, UT) volleyball knocked off the host Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Colts now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host South Summit for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 27. Cottonwood will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Rich (Randolph, UT). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Escalante drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Moquis host Panguitch (Panguitch, UT) to clash with the Bobcats in a 1A Region 20 bout on Wednesday, August 28. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Panguitch won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Millard (Fillmore, UT)
