The McKinney Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Decatur Eagles to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Plano for a 6A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, August 27. McKinney will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Decatur drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league outing on Sunday, August 25.
