Texas High School Volleyball - Ferris tips Marshall
August 24, 2024: Marshall, TX 75670 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) and the host Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX), observed Ferris's volleyball team hold off Marshall by a count of 2-1.
The Yellowjackets (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Carthage got by Franklin (Franklin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mavericks battle the Hudson Hornets (Lufkin, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Marshall will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX).
