Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Katy Taylor improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Bowie (Austin, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 13-2. Bowie won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX)

The Bronchos now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Immanuel Christian for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Odessa will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 10-3.
