August 24, 2024: Ooltewah, TN 37363 Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Powell Panthers (Powell, TN), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ooltewah improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Owls travel to Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 2-1. Walker Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (Chattanooga, TN)
The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stone Memorial for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Powell will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Watertown (Watertown, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
