Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Vandegrift improves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Vipers travel to Prosper (Prosper, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 6-7. Prosper lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockwall-Heath for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Walnut Grove will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 1-15.
