In Thursday's non-league match, the host Adams Highlanders football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets.

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Rochester Falcons (Rochester Hills, MI) in a Oakland - White match, on Thursday, September 1. Adams will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 27-24 non-league loss to Utica (Utica, MI).
