Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs (Waco, TX), 66-20 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Avalon improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bynum (Bynum, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Bynum lost 66-21 in their recent non-league test against Cranfills Gap (Cranfills Gap, TX)
