The Holmen Vikings football team (Holmen, WI), was beaten 26-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI)

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Richmond (New Richmond, WI). The Tigers come into the Big Rivers challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, New Richmond achieved victory over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI), 22-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Onalaska for a Mississippi Valley challenge on Friday, September 2. Holmen will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-0.
