August 25, 2022: Racine, WI 53405 In Thursday's non-league game, the Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI) football team were victorious over the host Racine Lutheran Crusaders (Racine, WI), by a score of 21-7.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI). The Pacers come into the Metro Classic game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Shoreland Lutheran was knocked off by Catholic Central (Burlington, WI), 24-10, in a non-league game.
The Crusaders now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic Central for a Midwest Classic match on Friday, September 2. Racine Lutheran will clash with a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 24-10 non-league win over Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-0.
