The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Eastern Wayne triumphed over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 26-14, in a non-league test.
With the loss, Dixon moves to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to confront the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 0-0.
