The Middle Creek Mustangs walloped the host Garner Trojans football team by a count of 41-7 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Middle Creek upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Pinecrest won 45-8 in their recent non-league outing against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)

With the loss, Garner moves to 1-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Millbrook won 13-6 in their recent non-league outing against Enloe (Raleigh, NC)
