Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bison confront the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Buffalo will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Magic now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Willmar for a Class A Section 6 challenge on Saturday, August 27.
