In Thursday's league contest, the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) softball team held off the host Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Omaha Westside moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE) to play the Thunderbirds in a A District contest on Tuesday, August 30. The Thunderbirds come into the contest with a record of 4-2. Bellevue West lost 6-1 in their recent league contest against Marian (Omaha, NE)
