The Briarwood Christian Lions volleyball team (Birmingham, AL), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL)

The Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Fort Payne nipped Plainview (Rainsville, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 27. Briarwood Christian will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Morgan (Trinity, AL).
