The Bulldogs now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little River Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, August 27. Burnet will confront a Bumblebees team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Bumblebees record now stands at 11-9.

The Bearcats (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Salado (Salado, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Salado gained a win over Savio (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
