The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) and the host Fostoria Redmen (Fostoria, OH), saw Van Buren's volleyball squad beat Fostoria by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Van Buren upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Black Knights host Hardin Northern (Dola, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, August 29. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Hardin Northern lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Elida (Elida, OH)

The Redmen now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake for a Northern Buckeye bout on Tuesday, August 30. Fostoria will play a Flyers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Springfield (Holland, OH). The Flyers record now stands at 3-0.
