Texas High School Volleyball - Overton tips Kemp
August 25, 2022: Kemp, TX 75143 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX) and the host Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX), saw Overton's volleyball squad nip Kemp by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Overton upgrades its record to 12-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Carlisle (Price, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Carlisle won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Winona (Winona, TX)
The Yellowjackets now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Fruitvale for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Kemp will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-6.
