The South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) volleyball overcame the host Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, South County betters its record to 1-2 on the year. The Vipers travel to Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Monday, August 29.
