August 25, 2023: Georgetown, SC 29440 The Andrews Yellowjackets (Andrews, SC) football nudged the host Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), 30-27 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 1. Andrews will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 21-18 non-league loss to Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC).
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Iron Horses enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Philip Simmons held off St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 41-30, in a non-league bout.
