Ohio High School Football - Athens knocked off by Gallia Academy

Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH), 30-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Gallia Academy improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to confront the Big Blacks in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Big Blacks come into the test with a record of 1-0. Point Pleasant won 26-7 in their recent league test against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV)

With the loss, Athens drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Marietta (Marietta, OH) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Marietta lost 38-20 in their recent non-league test against West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH)
