Alabama High School Football - Edgewood Academy felled by Autauga Academy
August 25, 2023: Prattville, AL 36067 The Edgewood Academy Wildcats football team (Elmore, AL), was knocked off 33-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Autauga Academy Generals (Prattville, AL)
The Generals (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL). The Rebels come into the AISA AAA challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Bessemer Academy was knocked off by Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL), 40-30, in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chambers Academy for a AISA AA Region I challenge on Friday, September 1. Edgewood Academy will meet a Rebels team coming off a 48-6 non-league win over Heritage (Newnan, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.
