In Friday's non-league game, the La Crosse Central Riverhawks (La Crosse, WI) football team knocked off the host Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI), by a score of 45-30.

The Riverhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI). The Beavers come into the Mississippi Valley game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Reedsburg was dropped by Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI), 34-0, in a non-league game.
