In Friday's non-league game, the Westland Cougars (Galloway, OH) football team knocked off the visiting Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH), by a final score of 26-14.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH). The Comets come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Central Crossing was dropped by Westerville North (Westerville, OH), 42-21, in a non-league game.
