The Mt. Pleasant Vikings football team (Mt. Pleasant, PA), was beaten 37-24 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA)

The Centurions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

The Vikings now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Yough for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Cougars team coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
